EQUIPMENT REPAIR - MECHANICAL & ELECTRICAL SERVICES

Smith Industries is still operating full service in our machine shop and discretionally for our outside services.

Many companies are experiencing temporary loss of staff due to self quarantine or isolation. To help offset this, we can provide mechanical and electrical services to repair equipment as needed. We would like to keep all outside service calls as short as workable. This will help ensure we can be of support to as many customers as achievable. Our millwrights and electrical staff will be working by themselves unless otherwise necessary thus ensuring social distancing requirements are met.

For companies that cannot allow access to their facilities at this time but still require mechanical or electrical assistance, we are happy to offer phone or facetime consultations free of charge to all maintenance staff as need during this pandemic.

If customers are having issues acquiring replacement parts, feel free to send us a sample part, pictures, measurements or descriptions. We will do our best to repair or remanufacture parts as needed to keep you operational, while attempting to keep the cost relatable to OEM parts.

REMOTE AUDITS

A remote audit is one that is conducted partially or completely off-site using mobile or desktop applications. The audit will consist of everything

that is typically included in an onsite audit. Personnel with responsibilities pertaining to the audit plan will need to be available for their relevant parts of the audit. Top management will also need to be available for relevant parts of the audit, including the opening and closing meetings.
